Born from an
onstage collision.
Norton Wisdom and Ireesh Lal first met onstage at the original (now demolished) House of Blues on Sunset Boulevard — paint meeting brass, the visual meeting the sonic.
That collision became the founding ethos of Artronika. When the pandemic arrived in 2020, they formalized what they had been building together: a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to proving that South Asian artistic traditions are not relics to be preserved, but living languages to be spoken in new rooms.
Today Artronika receives official recognition from the office of LA Councilwoman Traci Park, has earned grants from some of California's most respected arts funders, and draws thousands to the Venice Beach boardwalk each spring for the Venice Beach HOLI Bash.
With a $100,000 fundraising goal for 2026, Artronika is ready to expand programming, increase artist stipends from recording advances through Kabir Sutra, and grow its annual flagship event, the Venice Beach HOLI Bash. DAF partnerships are central to making this next chapter possible.
