MISSION STATEMENT

ARTRONIKA is a collective of Los Angeles based artists that produce immersive arts programming showcasing an array of South Asian talent and culture. Through innovative and inclusive events, we reimagine traditional music, art, and philosophy, incorporating modern technology and digital platforms to educate diverse audiences.

Mid City Arts & Music Festival

Saturday May 16

Join us for the 5th Annual MidCity Arts & Music Festival on May 16! This free street fair features 8 Community Stages. ARTRONIKA will be hosting a stage featuring South Asian musicians from Noon-4:30pm as we will be representing for AAPI Heritage Month at the Festival :)

Beer gardens, food trucks, live music - it's always a lot of fun every year!

Locateed at the intersection of W Washington Blvd + West Blvd in Mid City.

Venice Beach HOLI Bash

Our Community. One Celebration. Infinite Color

April 4, 1-5pm at Windward Plaza in Venice Beach The Venice Beach HOLI Bash is the festival of colors that signifies the beginning of Spring. It showcases a wide variety of South Asian talent including dancers, musicians and painters while the audience throws colorful powder and enjoys Indian cuisine on the iconic Venice Beach boardwalk.

Artronika presents Amay Khojo by Arzeen

Kabir Sutra

Kabir Sutra is an upcoming album featuring original compositions inspired by the poetry of 15th-century Indian mystic poet Sant Kabir. Several talented South Asian recording artists reimagine popular historical texts and make them more understandable and relatable to new generations. Artist grants from Artronika provide stipends for young composers, funding for recording costs, and a budget for marketing and distribution.

ART VIDEOS

Esteemed visual artist, Norton Wisdom, and Executive Director of Artronika, Ireesh Lal, have been producing immersive art videos for over a decade. Using watercolors on a fiberglass canvas where Wisdom paints images that constantly evolve, the pair create time-lapsed videos capturing the creative process while simultaneously interpreting music from a vast variety of different genres. Collaborations include making videos for: Red Light Management, Ferry Corsten, Ozomatli, Bitter:Sweet, and several local acts based in Los Angeles.

IMMERSIVE DINING

CHAKRAS

A multisensory immersive experience where participants explore the meanings of the seven mystical energy centers, or Chakras, in the human body. This journey unfolds through a 7-course Indian dining experience paired with seven movements of original music. Dancers and live painters enrich the production, while an Indian comedian engages the audience as the event’s host.

ABOUT US

Artronika began as a collision of sound and vision - a creative partnership between legendary visual artist Norton Wisdom and trumpet player Ireesh Lal. The two met onstage at the iconic House of Blues on Sunset Boulevard, where Wisdom painted ephemeral watercolor images on rear-lit fiberglass canvases while Lal DJ'd eclectic world and electronic music, weaving in live jazz trumpet and synths. Their performances became a celebration of improvisation, color, and rhythm.
